Food Photography – Gastronomy

I approach photographing meals as experiences that include many more elements than just the food on offer. The images I create to highlight gastronomy do not focus exclusively on photography, cooking, recipes and drinks, but showcase traditional local products, activities, and services.

I am not limited only to the illustrative photography of plates and dishes. Through my lens I proceed to discover and highlight the known “suspects” of the kitchen, creating images that strongly contain the feeling that everything that is created is done with passion, knowledge, care and love. I often resort to close-ups that draw attention and highlight the food, through a different and unusual perspective.

With abstract images I stimulate the senses and ignite the imagination for pleasure and pleasure. I also include shots that cover the raw ingredients, the process of preparing the cooking and serving, to products, objects and people. I often showcase gastronomy alongside existing decorative and architectural elements.

I focus on capturing the atmosphere and aesthetics of the space in which the depicted dishes and their creators are produced, created, served and enjoyed.
