Kato Neurokopi.
In 2023, I was invited by Dasc Branding and Nelios to join as a core member of the creative team for the demanding Place Branding and communication project focused on the identity of Kato Nevrokopi and its promotion as a tourist destination. The goal was to highlight, through a visual journey, all the features that make this place unique throughout all four seasons.
Before starting the photo shoot, Palladian Communication Specialists, Dasc Branding Athens, and Progresso Consulting provided me with a study and a detailed list of targeted and highly demanding shots that I had to carry out. The photography project lasted for over a year. During that time, I formed a close connection both with the people and the unspoiled, unexplored nature of the area. The Municipality of Kato Nevrokopi, as the project sponsor, supported the effort from the very beginning, offering essential facilitation in terms of personnel and logistical support.
The distinctiveness of the region made the project both unique and challenging. The photographs I captured during my explorations in Kato Nevrokopi were particularly special, as they went beyond its reputation for potato production and biting cold. They revealed the hidden aspects of the broader area, fully meeting the project’s aesthetic and technical requirements. The recognition of the project’s quality and the positive reviews that followed were deeply rewarding for me. To this day, the project has received awards both in Greece and abroad.
